Spy Wednesday

Today is called spy Wednesday because on it Judas conspired with the Sanhedrin to betray Jesus.

All mine enemies whisper together against me; even against me do they imagine this evil. Let the sentence of guiltiness proceed against him; and now that he lieth, let him rise up no more. Yea, even mine own familiar friend in whom I trusted, who did also eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. Psalm (40)41:5-9

And Satan entered into Judas, who was surnamed Iscariot, one of the twelve. And he went, and discoursed with the chief priests and the magistrates, how he might betray him to them. And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. And he promised. And he sought opportunity to betray him in the absence of the multitude. Luke 22:3-6
